I hate diets, is there another way?

Yes, and the primary focus is about your wellness, not your weight - but it can work for you!

It’s the Theory of Primary Food.

Primary “Food” refers to feeding your whole self, not just your mouth. Primary food is open, honest relationships, career, spirituality, enjoyable physical activity, learning about things you love, cooking at home, having a clean space, and being around people who fill your cup. 

Secondary food is anything you put in your mouth.

Why does this matter? When we want to get healthy, we go straight to controlling what goes in our mouths. But Primary Food is what decides how we approach what we eat. The more healthy primary food we consume, the less we rely on secondary food. The further away we get from what nourishes our soul, the more we rely on Secondary Food to fill that void. 

This is good news! It means that the more we focus on our Primary Food, and fill our life with things that bring us joy, the easier it will be to keep our Secondary Food in a healthy balance.
